I sampled one of their bestsellers, the Humba rice bowl. The generous portion of pork was incredibly tender, each bite steeped in rich, savory flavors that melted in my mouth. The dish truly captures the essence of Cebuano comfort food, with the sweet and salty sauce coating the perfectly cooked meat and fluffy rice, making every mouthful deeply satisfying.
During my first night at the hotel, I had dinner at the Twilight Bar. This rooftop bar and restaurant boasts an impressive selection of cocktails and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline glowing with evening lights. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day of exploring.
At the Twilight Bar, I ordered the Bolognese Pasta and a Clubhouse Sandwich. Both dishes were exceptionally delicious—rich in flavor and beautifully presented. Paired with the spectacular 360-degree view of the metropolis, the experience felt truly special, leaving me wanting for nothing more.
The bar features an array of unique, carefully crafted cocktails alongside its delicious menu. I also appreciated the lively music, which created a warm and vibrant atmosphere without ever being too overpowering, making the evening even more enjoyable.
I also had lunch at Ume Japanese Restaurant at the ground level. Ume Japanese Cuisine offers authentic Japanese dining in an elegant, modern setting. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared sushi, sashimi, yakitori, donburi, ramen, and other traditional dishes.
I had an incredible lunch at Ume, where I indulged in Hane Gyoza—japanese dumplings with a delicate, savory filling. I also tried the Octopus Karaage, which was beautifully fried and paired with creamy Takoyaki. The Nature’s Spring Roll offered an exciting burst of flavors and texture, while the California Kani Salad was refreshing and light. The star was the Tantanmen Ramen, rich with a spicy, nutty broth and perfectly cooked noodles. I ended the meal on a sweet note with 3 scoops of creamy Matcha Gelato.
Also located at the ground floor is their famous steakhouse called Marble + Grain Steakhouse where I had my dinner. Located at the ground floor, the steakhouse is an upscale dining destination renowned for its custom-aged USDA prime beef, premium seafood, and curated wine selection. With its sophisticated ambiance and attentive service, the restaurant redefines the steakhouse experience in Cebu.
We sampled their tender Pork Belly, juicy Ribeye Steak (250g), rich and flavorful Pappardelle Bolognese, and finished with their delightful Tiramisu for dessert. It was particularly fascinating to watch as the server expertly prepared the tiramisu right at our table, adding a personal and theatrical touch to the experience. The fresh ingredients, creamy mascarpone, and aromatic coffee soaked into the delicate ladyfingers, creating a dessert that looked as exquisite as it tasted. The presentation and attention to detail truly elevated our meal.

Before I left for Manila, I had a chance to try their buffet lunch at Cafe bai. The buffet lunch at Café baiis a vibrant culinary experience that showcases an impressive spread of international and local cuisines in a stylish, spacious setting. I was truly impressed with the wide selection of Filipino favorites, Japanese sushi and sashimi, Chinese dim sum, Korean dishes, Western roasts, Indian favorites, and fresh seafood, all freshly prepared at interactive live cooking stations.
At the lunch buffet, I found the local dishes especially delightful. Their Lecharon—a unique take on lechon belly with super crispy, chicharon-like skin—was outstanding. I also loved the Pata Humba; the meat was exceptionally tender and full of flavor.
The dessert section is equally enticing, featuring cakes, pastries, and local sweets that perfectly cap off the meal. With attentive service, elegant ambiance, and a reputation as one of Cebu’s best buffet destinations, Café bai offers a satisfying and memorable dining experience that blends variety, flavor, and quality
